Jerry began serving as a volunteer bookkeeper with TPP back in May 2011. He continues to serve by helping our executive director carry out the vision and also assists our bookkeeper and development coordinator in financial and development work. Jerry retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1998 after 34 years as an agricultural statistician. Retirement has included a variety of interesting activities, including part-time employment, volunteer stints with Habitat for Humanity, Eastern University, Palmer Theological Seminary, Deeley-Mattes Author Escorts, and Eastern University Academy Charter School. He has degrees from Southern Illinois University and Ohio State University. Jerry and his wife Mary are members of Roxborough Church, have two children and three granddaughters in Philadelphia and New York City area.
