College Scholarship Program

The Philadelphia Project is pleased to be able to offer full-tuition scholarships to attend Eastern University and Cairn University. We seek to enable young people to attend college who would otherwise not be able to for financial reasons.

Application Information

The scholarship is for new freshmen students with significant financial need and who either reside in Northwest Philadelphia (and vicinity) or who have past or current experience with TPP Programs or our partner churches (Roxborough Church, Wissahickon Church, Reformed Episcopal Church of the Atonement). Students who reside in Northwest Philadelphia and with TPP experience are especially encouraged to apply.

The four-year scholarship covers tuition costs. Recipients must live on campus, be actively involved with a local church during their time at university, serve at three TPP Blitz weekends a semester, and complete 30 hours of community service per semester at TPP or with our partner churches.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Priority deadline to apply for the upcoming school year is May 1. In addition to the application questions, applicants will need to provide 3 letters of recommendation (see application form for more details).
